Always have your pitch ready but never make it sound like a pitch!
Find people you have a sincere interest in. Networking isn’t just about making business connections, especially for us freelancers. Go in for the real connection and a business connection will follow. This also makes conversations a lot easier!
Just get yourself out there. Go to events, join conferences, and just have fun with people. A connection is already made with a simple smile and a ‘hello’.
